Jazykové Centrum is a friendly, student-focused language school located in the heart of Prague. We specialize in English conversation classes taught by experienced native English speakers from the United States. Our mission is simple: to help students feel confident and capable when speaking English in real-world situations.

1-on-1 Conversation Partner Program
In addition to group classes, we offer a popular 1-on-1 Conversation Partner Program. These sessions are perfect for students who want more flexibility or who feel unsure about speaking in a group. You’ll meet regularly with a native speaker in a relaxed, personalized setting—making it easier to focus on your individual goals and make faster progress.

All classes are taught in English and focus on conversation skills.
Chris Haynes
Chris Haynes is a TEFL-certified teacher from Virginia with 15 years of experience. His classes at Jazykové Centrum are fun, friendly, and conversation-focused, designed to build fluency, vocabulary, and confidence through videos, readings, and engaging speaking activities. One-on-one lessons are also available.

Dave Nizic
Dave Nizic is a retired American entrepreneur with degrees in computer information systems and mass communication. Formerly based in Oregon, Dave brings his diverse professional experience to English classes that are fun, informative, relational, and adaptable to his students' individual goals and interests.
Wednesday: 9:15 – 10:30
Curt Mobley
Curt Mobley has lived and worked in Prague for 18 years with his wife, Vicky, and his son, Jair.
Curt has a master’s degree in intercultural studies, a bachelor of music in vocal performance and a bachelors in information management systems. He currently teaches at Evangelikální teologický seminář in Černý Most and the Christian International School of Prague in Praha 2.
Curt enjoys music, politics, films and discussions.
